Blair Dravitski

 I am originally from Palmerston North but came to Christchurch to attend University. Since graduating I have worked in schools in both the North and South Islands gaining experience in a variety of leadership positions. I spent 3 years as principal of Ohakune Primary School in the central North Island and most recently have been principal for 4 years at Linwood Avenue School in Christchurch. During this time I completed my Masters of Educational Leadership via distance learning through the University of Waikato. As a person and a principal I take pride in getting to know people and building relationships that are genuine and authentic. I live locally in Rolleston and have a beautiful wife and two gorgeous daughters. I have a love of all sports in particular Rugby League and Cricket.  I am looking forward to starting my journey at Lemonwood Grove School in Term 3, 2020. 

Jen Hodgkinson
Deputy Principal

Jen joined the Lemonwood Grove team in the foundation leadership team back in 2016 before the school opened.  She began her teaching career in 2000 and has taught in multiple schools across NZ since then. She is passionate about collaborative teaching and learning, authentic learning and developing student agency. Jen lives in Selwyn with her husband and their three children. She spends her spare time on the sidelines of multiple sports fields and getting out and about with her family as often as possible.

Troy Landrebe
Deputy Principal

Troy Graduated from Dunedin College of Education in 2000. He and his new wife, Tracy,  moved to Te Kuiti to start their teaching careers. After 16 years in the North Island, Troy and his family moved back to the mainland. He joined Lemonwood Grove at the start of Term 4, 2019 to take up one of the  Deputy Principal positions. Over the years he has been involved in many aspects of leadership within his schools. He currently lives in Lincoln and outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family and trying to stay active. 

Sophia Erni
Kahurangi | Maunga - Learning Leader

Sophia has been at Addington School for the past 3 years where she was a Mathematics Support Teacher. Before this she began her teaching career at Wanaka Primary School. Sophia spends her time outside of the school gate creating memories by exploring the outdoors. She loves tramping with friends, going to yoga, snowboarding in the winter, surfing in the summer and is currently learning how to mountain bike. Sophia is passionate about building strong relationships to support our learners and is looking forward to becoming a part of the new Lemonwood Grove Community.

Claire Wheeldon
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Learning Leader

Claire is originally from the UK where she really enjoyed her years teaching Junior School children before having twin girls of her own. She has lived in Tai Tapu Christchurch for 13 Years now with her husband Adam and growing twins. Claire worked for 3 years at South Hornby Primary and then spent the last 7 Years teaching years 0 to 4 at Tai Tapu School. She is passionate about developing the talents and skills of our young learners. When not at LWG Claire loves exploring New Zealand beaches, hanging out with friends, music and snowboarding in winter with her family.

Jana Munro
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Learning Leader

Jana grew up in Oamaru and attended Waitaki Girls’ High School. She then moved to Dunedin to study teaching at Otago University. Jana wanted to be a teacher she could have the same positive impact on children’s learning, as her teachers had on hers. Jana’s favourite subjects growing up were art and literacy, and now she loves giving learners the opportunity to let their creativity flow. Jana feels very privileged to be a part of this amazing, growing community.

Jane Wood
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Jane is originally from Wales, completing her teaching degree in 1999 at the University of Wales and has many years of teaching experience. She has spent time in various year groups in Junior Schools throughout the UK, Cyprus, Australia and NZ. She has a husband and a daughter and has now settled in the Selwyn area. She is enthusiastic about developing a fun learning environment and building strong caring relationships with her learners. Jane enjoys exploring New Zealand and catching up with family and friends.

Theresa Koorey
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Theresa joined the Lemonwood Grove team in early 2019 as a reliever. Before that she taught for 6 years both in Oamaru and Christchurch. In her spare time Theresa loves singing, playing ukelele, quizzes and watching shows movies or live music. She lives in Christchurch and enjoys the lovely countryside commute each morning into Faringdon.  Theresa is currently working in the junior team and loves working in this unique environment.

Emily Glendenning
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Emily grew up in North Canterbury. She graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2018 and relocated to Selwyn after being appointed a position at Lemonwood Grove School. Emily is passionate about developing fun, authentic opportunities for learning through play. She is dedicated to building meaningful  relationships with learners and encouraging them to celebrate and work to their strengths.

Amy France
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Kia ora, my name is Amy France. 

I have recently moved to Rolleston from Timaru with my husband and six year old daughter, Eva. I have been teaching for many years and I am excited for my new adventures and to join the Lemonwood Grove school community.

I have travelled extensively through India and Nepal, and have even spent a day in Antartica! My daughter and I can often be found exploring all of the different playgrounds and going on exciting adventures in Christchurch. As a family we enjoy spending our summers at the Great Lakes in the South Island, jet boating, or at Waihi beach in the Bay of Plenty, in the North.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in 2020.

Nicole McCutcheon
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Nicole grew up in Dunedin and attended Kaikorai Valley College before studying at Otago University. She has been teaching for 4 and a half years, spending 3 and a half years teaching at a small school in North Canterbury and 1 year teaching in Dubai. Nicole is passionate about inclusive education and believes everyone should be given the opportunity to learn. Outside of school she enjoys playing and coaching sport, keeping active and spending time with her friends and family.


Caitlin Hapeta
Kopara/ Kahikatea - Teacher

Caitlin grew up in Palmerston North but moved to Christchurch to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She then went travelling through Europe and after two years, returned to Christchurch to study primary teaching. Caitlin is incredibly excited to start her teaching journey at Lemonwood Grove School with new entrants. She is looking forward to forming connections with the learners, integrating her growing knowledge of Te Reo Maori within the learning environment and teaching using the play-based learning approach.  Caitlin is an intrepid traveller and while she enjoys discovering what the world has to offer, she also loves exploring New Zealand through hiking the great walks and learning more about our culture. 


Lisa Collier
Tui/ Kereru- Learning Leader

Lisa has recently moved to Rolleston with her husband and three children. Prior to joining the Lemonwood Grove team, Lisa taught for over six years at Selwyn House School and before this at Lincoln Primary School. Lisa is passionate about inquiry learning and Robotics. She is also a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and brings these skills into the classroom.

Anna Graham
Tui/ Kereru - Learning Leader

Anna has been teaching for 8 years now. She taught her first 3 years in the middle of Wellington at a school where there were only 50 students! Anna moved to Christchurch at the beginning of 2016 when her partner Travis got a job here. I grew up in Christchurch so it is great to be back! A passion of Anna’s is sport, she lives and breathes netball! Anna has been with the LWG team since the beginning of 2018.

Jo Silvey
Tui / Kereru- Teacher

Jo has been teaching for 20 years at a variety of awesome Christchurch schools and a school in Auckland. Before that she worked for Hertz and Contiki and lived in London for a year. Her husband is in a band and she has three children, Ben, Millie and Jackson, and two cats, Crafty and Mittens. Jo’s passions are art, reading, going to the gym, walking and baking. Her favourite subject to teach is writing because she loves reading the amazing stories, poems and facts that children imagine and retell. She lives in Rolleston and you may see her shopping or enjoying a coffee at a local cafe.

Emily Simpson
Tui / Kereru- Teacher

Emily has taught in Christchurch schools for the past six years. She is passionate about wellbeing and emotional regulation as tools to help children be the best they can be. Emily comes from a Selwyn-based farming family and now lives in Lincoln with her husband Scott and their 3 year old spoodle Baxter. She is looking forward to starting at LWG and joining the wonderful community feel it offers. When not at school Emily enjoys sewing, baking and creating new things (and lots of mess!). 

Paige Bowler-Berendt
Tui / Kereru- Teacher

Paige moved to Christchurch from Nelson three years ago and has been teaching in Primary education for four years.

She is excited to be teaching at LWG and can’t wait to motivate and inspire learners to challenge themselves and be their best selves. Paige likes spending time with her daughter Maddie and husband Karl, enjoying the outdoors, walking our dog Squid, cooking, traveling, photography and reading. Paige can't wait to continue her teaching journey here at Lemonwood Grove.

Ruby Clayworth
Tui / Kereru- Teacher

Ruby grew up in Australia where she originally studied law. However, after working in childcare for 18 months when she moved to London, Ruby realised that working with kids is her passion! She relocated to New Zealand in 2018 to pursue a teaching career. Ruby is particularly passionate about wellbeing and building relationships, as well as incorporating music, movement and storytelling into learning. She loves how supportive and inclusive the LWG community is. Outside of school, Ruby loves to spend time with loved ones, listen to music, read a good book and enjoy the outdoors.


Chris Goldsack
Tui / Kereru- Teacher

Kia ora koutou. My name is Chris Goldsack, and I am married to Daz, and have two children, Sammy and Max.  I love the outdoors - walking in the hills, strolling along the beach, biking and swimming. My favourite place in New Zealand is Fiordland, and I love Emperor penguins.  At home you would find me tending to the vege garden, reading, watching Master Chef, or playing games.  

Teaching learners is one of my passions, and I have been doing this for a lot of years. Seeing others lead their own learning and developing skills to manage this is exciting!  I am looking forward to learning with the Lemonwood Grove community who are already on this journey.


Maree Ford
Maunga/ Kahurangi - Learning Leader

Maree joined the Lemonwood Grove Team, in 2018. Maree has taught locally for over 10 years and spent 7 years in London before that. She lives in the Faringdon community with her 2 beautiful girls. They all love the outdoors, snowboarding/skiing, swimming and taking the boat to the local lakes. Maree enjoys working with students of all levels and challenging the learners to reach their full potential through play.

Jacob Facer
Maunga/ Kahurangi - Teacher

Jacob grew up in the South Island in a family of educators. He spent time working in tourism and travelling, then spent six years working in the insurance and finance industry before becoming a teacher.

He enjoys music as well as most sports and art. He will often be found playing basketball, working on a painting or playing the guitar.

Jacob joined the Lemonwood Grove team in 2018 as a classroom helper and started teaching full time at the beginning of 2019.

Hollie Stone
Maunga/ Kahurangi - Teacher

Hollie grew up in Auckland and studied a Bachelor of Business before completing a Graduate Diploma in Teaching. She began her teaching career in South Auckland and then spent 2 years in London teaching and travelling. A year after returning from London Hollie moved to Christchurch for the brilliant lifestyle the South Island has to offer.  She loves getting outdoors and exploring with her dog Lola. Hollie has been part of the LWG team since the beginning of 2019.

Andrea Walker
Maunga/ Kahurangi- Teacher

Andrea returned to Christchurch after teaching up North for 8 years.  She has taught in USA and Australia and specialised in Gifted and Talented Education.  Andrea is very passionate about teaching and loves to be very creative. In her spare time she loves to exercise and help others to achieve their goals and aspirations.  Andrea joined the Lemonwood Grove Team in Term 4 2019.

Amy Lock
Maunga/ Kahurangi- Teacher

Tēnā korua e hoa ma, my name is Amy. 

I grew up in the Christchurch and love this growing city we live in. I absolutely love anything outdoors. You'll find me either at the beach, going for a run, or hiking! My other hobbies include spending time with my much-loved family and friends. I graduated with my bachelors of teaching at Otago University at the end of 2018. I  have been completing my masters throughout 2019 which encompasses the idea of mathematics anxiety in primary school students. Everything I have learnt and experienced over the 4 years has shaped me as an individual and brought my passion for teaching to life. 

I value teaching in an inclusive, collaborative, hard working and fun environment that allows all learners to embrace their unique selves whilst welcoming new knowledge and skills. I know LWG has all of these essentials to offer which makes me that much more excited to grow as a teacher with the LWG community.

Hayley Kilday
Release Teacher

Hayley joined LWG at the beginning of 2019 after relieving throughout the school the previous year. She has many years of teaching experience. She enjoys getting to know the students and guiding them through the learning journey. Her strength is teaching maths and she enjoys sharing her knowledge with the learners. Outside of school Hayley likes to spend time with her family and read a good book.

Lynda Priscott
Release Teacher

Lynda joined LWG at the beginning of 2019 after relieving from July 2018. She has many years of teaching experience in New Zealand and Melbourne Australia. Lynda’s strengths are in Literacy and the Arts. She moved to Faringdon to be close to family and is enjoying making new friends. Outside of school Lynda likes spending time gardening,listening to music and painting. She enjoys travelling and experiencing new things.

Rachael Stephens
Learning Support Coordinator

Rachael joined the Lemonwood Grove team in Term 3 2019, having worked previously as a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) based at Lemonwood Grove. Rachael is passionate about and fascinated by Neuroscience and Neuro-motor development and how we can use research and findings to better support learners (and ourselves).. In her spare time, you can find Rachael out and about on her family’s lifestyle block with her husband and son - weeding the many gardens, feeding the family pig Wilbur, on the ride-on lawn mower, DIY-ing and relaxing in the sun with a good book. Rachael is also interested in mindfulness and wellbeing practices, and loves an episode of Coronation Street every now and then.

Mel Stenhouse
Reading Recovery and Learning Support

Mel completed her Diploma of Teaching in 1997, and upgraded to a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning in 2011. She loved her time teaching English in Japan in 1998. She has taught at a number of schools in the Christchurch and Selwyn region, most recently at Rolleston Primary, Darfield Primary and Reading Recovery training in the Hororata Cluster in 2016. She settled in Rolleston in 2011 with her family of three boys. She is passionate about literacy and will work hard to promote life-long literacy learning. Mel can often be spotted out walking, biking or scootering locally with her family. Mel has been a member of the team since 2017.

Annette Browne
Learning Support

Annette relocated from Auckland in 2019 and is very happy to be living in Rolleston. She has a beautiful family living nearby.

Coming from a family of 13 siblings it was obvious children will always be a high priority in her life.

Annette is loves going that extra mile and brings a positive attitude to her work. She feels very proud and privileged to be part of Lemonwood Grove School team and the wider school community.

Annette is a big fan of travelling and loves family time and watching sports.

Michelle Yelavich
Learning Support

Having worked 90% of her working life in call centres Michelle decided to challenge herself to a new path. 2 years now working for Busy Bumbles in before and after school care, Michelle was excited to be given the opportunity of working at Lemonwood Grove School as a Teacher Aide.

Michelle believes it takes a community to raise a child and is excited to be doing this along side of the teachers and management of Lemonwood Grove. 

Michelle has 3 children who keep her busy and entertained.

Sarah Lewell
Office Administrator

Sarah Lewell relocated from Cambridge with her husband and two daughters to the Rolleston community in 2016. She has spent most of her career in various administration and accounts roles with her most recent position at Leamington Primary School. Sarah is excited to be working at Lemonwood Grove School in a role that she is passionate about and she is looking forward to working with the team and helping them with achieving their goals.

Tracy is very excited to be a part of the Lemonwood Grove community.  Tracy and her family moved to Christchurch from Wellington 5 years ago.  Tracy comes from an Administration background. She loves to play Touch Rugby and Boxing, exploring the outdoors with her husband and 2 boys.  Checking out the surf at the beautiful beaches in Canterbury. Tracy looks forward to connecting with Learners and their Whanau.

Helen Devlin
Office Support

Helen has worked in a wide range of administration and customer service roles in New Zealand and Australia. She has recently moved to Rolleston with her husband and two young boys and is loving being part of such a great community. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, home DIY, travelling to new places and spending time with her family and friends. Helen is looking forward to getting to know all of our learners, their families and the wider Lemonwood Grove community.
